CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Elite Eight, March 29th

After an action-packed first three rounds of the tournament, we have now two game slates for the next three slates and then the showdown for the championship. Two game slates are not my favorite, but they are what we have now, so let’s get into it.

Oregon State (62), Tempo: 63

There is a clear game to target here, and it is not this one. Oregon State is the worst team on the slate, and they are large dogs in the less desirable game on the slate so we should not look to stack the Beavers. Ethan Thompson ($7,400) continues to rise in price, and I really think he struggles here against the Houston perimeter. Thompson’s only path to success comes from getting into space inside the three-point line and getting to the line. He can do that, but the chance of him paying off this price in my mind is less than 25%. If you wanted to use a Beaver, I would go cheap with Jarod Lucas ($5,400) or Roman Silva ($4,800) who are both playing a ton of minutes on the Oregon State team in the tournament.
