CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Friday, November 19th

DraftKings has tightened up the salaries a bit on this slate so we don’t have the insane numbers of great plays that we did on the previous few slates. The contests are still lacking, but we do have a couple of good matchups tonight. Let’s get into it.

Ohio (68)

I know that this is a tough matchup for the Bobcats but the price on Mark Sears ($5,400) seems kind of ridiculous. Sears is one of the most efficient offensive players in the MAC and he does it near the rim, not necessarily from the three point line. He picks up a decent amount of peripherals, and even though Kentucky’s defense is good I think he should end up getting close to value here. Jason Carter (7,400) and Ben Vander Plas ($6,800) are much harder asks against a very good Kentucky interior – they are just a little bit too expensive despite their hot starts. Miles Brown ($3,800) is cheap but doesn’t have enough stats to be a relevant player here. Ohio is a large dog, and while I think they contend, we don’t want to go too heavy here.
