CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: January 14th

I really did not think that KD Johnson would play as much as he did last night – I guess I should have listened to what the players were saying about how good he was and considered how bad Sahvir Wheeler was. Missing that play cost me a good chunk of change as you needed his value over the other poor value to crush. Anyway, we have three game slate tonight with two COVID cancellations, so the ownership is going to be very concentrated.

Purdue (63), Tempo: 64

Purdue essentially has one guy (Trevion Williams ($8,600)) who gets stats, so when looking at any of the other guys on this team like Eric Hunter Jr ($5,700), Sasha Stefanovic ($5,500), Brandon Newman ($4,900) and Aaron Wheeler ($4,100), you must realize that they will have an extremely low floor. I am not a big fan of anyone here. This is a poor matchup against a Hoosiers team that plays a solid defense (14th in the nation) and a slow tempo (293rd in the nation) and the Boilers are on the road. This is not a spot where I would like to grab Trevion and I cannot imagine any of the other guys project well unless you make some heavy assumptions.
