CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: January 26th
As usual, DraftKings goes a little bit bigger on Tuesdays, which are the big nights for college hoops. Let’s get right into the 10-game slate that we have offered and fill these contests.
Oklahoma (68), Tempo: 69
Brady Manek ($4,800) was relatively effective in his 20 minutes on the court in the game against Kansas, but he does not seem like a big part of the rotation/offense anymore. He only took 5 shots and it is clear that this is not the same guy we are used to seeing at 7k+ last year. Instead, De’Vion Harmon ($5,900) and Elijah Harkless ($5,800) have taken the spots next to Austin Reaves ($7,200) as the top offensive options on the team along with Umoja Gibson ($4,500) when he is on the court. Based on the last few games, this team has changed – Lon Kruger is running a very deep bench, and the only guys that we can count on to play over 30 minutes are Reaves and Harmon. Texas still has a top 10 efficiency defense, so I am not big on either guy, as Texas allows almost nothing behind the arc. Both Reaves and Harmon create around 40% of their offensive production from behind the arc, so they are not particularly great plays on this slate. The projections agree – there is not a single player worth playing in cash.
Cash Viable: None
GPP Upside: Austin Reaves, De’Vion Harmon
