CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: March 11th

We have a 10-game slate in the night here – it’s always a crazy time during championship week, so let’s get right to it.

Duke (76), Tempo: 71

After Jalen Johnson opted out, I was big on Matthew Hurt ($8,500) as I thought he would have a monopoly on the rebounds and still remain the #1 shot taker on the team, but Mark Williams ($8,200) has proved me wrong. Williams is the best rebounder on the team, and he is taking a reasonable amount of shots as well. Williams’ emergence has made it impossible to seriously consider Hurt, and even at this price, I think you probably want to consider Williams over Hurt even considering how insane that might have sounded two weeks ago. Wendell Moore remains too expensive to use for me, so the decision comes down to DJ Steward ($6,400) who has been reasonably consistent with the new Duke lineup. I have no problem using Steward here, although I do not think he is one of the top values on the slate. I am leaving this Duke team for GPPs despite the high implied total here – I think the prices are around correct on most of the players and FSU’s defense is long and can impact interior shots well.
