CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: New Year's Eve

Very small contests today and I have my last CFB article to whip up, so we are going to buzz through this article pretty quick in a slightly different format – will be doing games together to shorten it a little bit while still giving a whole view of the slate. Unless this is popular, I will return to the other format for the next slate.

Minnesota (69) at Wisconsin (76), Tempo: 71

This is surprisingly the highest tempo game on the slate, most of the games are Pac-12 games and most of their teams are playing like snails this year. Minnesota has had a fantastic start to the year, but this is a litmus test for them, and Wisconsin under Gard has the 329th ranked tempo and the 7th ranked efficiency defense. While Marcus Carr ($9,300) is elite, I am not sure it makes sense to spend up on him here outside of GPP lineups, and I do not think any of the other Minnesota players are in play.
