CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Tuesday, December 7th

We’ve got an 8-game slate on the docket today – I wish DraftKings would at least attempt to raise the $10 GPP, but we get what we get I guess. We are halfway through the non-conference season, and it looks like DraftKings is starting to tighten up pricing a little bit, although we still have some solid value plays. Let’s get into it.

Virginia (65)

The first game here is the worst on the slate – despite James Madison having a decent tempo and a bad defense, Virginia has no offense and is going to slow this game to a crawl. I have no real interest in the Hoos in this spot as guys like Armaan Franklin ($5,600), Reece Beekman ($6,600) and Jayden Gardner ($7,500) are all priced appropriately. DFS favorite Kadin Shedrick ($5,700) also has seen a price bump and is still not destroying value. Kihei Clark ($6,200) continues to be one of the most consistent fantasy players in the country, putting up around 20 FP almost every game – that is not going to get it done here, and he can basically be ignored. Franklin would be nice if he could pick up some peripherals, but he is used mainly as a scorer. Beekman has the best rates of anyone not named Shedrick, but his offensive rating is terrible. Overall, just a bad spot.
