CBB DFS Slate Breakdown: Tuesday, November 16th

DraftKings has been VERY lax on the salaries in the early going – while I know a lot of people want tighter salaries, there’s a balance here. Pricing inefficiencies are where money can be made in the game, so we definitely want pricing inefficiencies, but where it gets annoying is when there are 6-7 clear pricing inefficiencies (like last night) and then everyone else is decently priced, forcing everyone into the same 6 plays. At least tonight the entire slate is underpriced, giving a decent number of options. Anyway, I will get off my soap box now and get to the games.

Creighton (72)

We start out with the team that is the most mispriced of all – the Blue Jays. I am not really sure what DK has done, if they are bumping down teams who are projected as dogs or what, but Nebraska under Hoiberg has had one of the highest tempos in the nation with a mediocre defense and is only a 1 point favorite. Ryan Nembhard ($4,200) has played the most minutes on the team in the early going and is the most glaring misprice here. You could argue his minutes come from the absence of Shereef Mitchell ($3,300), but I think Nembhard is going to be playing no matter what. His price is so bad, even if he were to hit a reserve role, he would still be one of the better plays on the board. Keyshawn Feazell ($3,900) and Ryan Kalkbrenner ($3,300) are splitting time at the 5 – Kalkbrenner is the preferred option here but honestly both are playable.
