CBB DFS Picks - Tournament Breakdown: Thursday, Round of 64

Here we are at the first day of the NCAA tournament – like usual, DK has VASTLY underestimated the demand as the $15 is already ¼ full and will likely fill before tomorrow morning (in my opinion). In the first few years of the tournament, DraftKings would price the smaller school players as if they were playing another mid-major – now they price these teams down to make us really consider them in bad matchups. We have a monster 16 gamer, so let’s get into it.

Michigan (72)

Michigan gets a decent spot here as they would have been underdogs against any of the other 11 seeds, but they are a 2.5-point Vegas favorite over the Rams. While this is the best team they could have drawn at an 11 seed, CSU is also not a particularly great stylistic matchup for Michigan as the Rams rebound well, they tend to keep people out of the paint and make them shoot threes which is not the Wolverines strength. On offense, I would expect most of the possessions to go the way of Hunter Dickinson ($8,700) who has had an up and down season. In terms of raw fantasy points, Dickinson is not one of the better high dollar plays on the board, but he still has 50-60 FP upside in the right scenario and it’s not like this game is projected to be all that low scoring. He’s a great GPP option. Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen Caleb Houstan ($6,000) play better (except for the last two games of the season, and Eli Brooks ($6,500
