Friday, February 13th
Happy Friday guys! Generally do not do a lot for the two-game slates, but because we have a lot of tournaments and interest, I figured I would get something up for you guys. Not a lot to look at today, but we should have a resurgent Arizona State team score a lot of points against Washington State, and we should also see the gaping hole in Washington’s interior be exposed by Arizona.

Arizona
Stanley Johnson – Since Washington lost Jarreau and Upshaw, their interior defense has plummeted along with their NCAA tournament hopes. The team has to be at a low in confidence, and it will be something that Johnson can exploit here. While Stanley is good at shooting the 3, he does a ton of work inside and is at a very cheap price here for his ability, which should result in a high ownership percentage, but he’s close to a must own tonight against the hapless Huskies.
TJ McConnell – Parker-Jackson Cartwright should be back for this game, which will take a little bit of the load off of York and McConnell in their guard rotation, but TJ is still going to be the number one option here. I would really like to attack the Washington interior more, but Tarczewski is inconsistent and prone to fouls, and Ashley has one of the lower upsides I have seen out of a major rotation big. Arizona can be used here against a Washington team who will run.
Brandon Ashley – Ashley is a little expensive but his matchup could not be better. Tarczewski is going to be tied up with Kemp, and a guy like Donaven Dorsey or Darin Johnson or Gilles Dierickx will end up being on Ashley, none of whom are very good defenders. He has a very low upside, but could shatter that today. He is a nice filler if you need someone, but is not a plug and play option tonight.
Washington
Mike Anderson – I am not a big fan of Washington in this game and think I would rather pay up for guys like Hawkinson and Stanley Johnson rather than Nigel Williams-Goss. Instead, I will use Anderson here, who is much cheaper and locked into 35-40 minutes of game time. Anderson does it all and will need to rebound a bit more against Arizona than he has post Upshaw and Jarreau. Anderson is one of the only serviceable defenders that Washington has and he does a bit of everything out there.
