CBB Grind Down: Monday, January 19th

Monday, January 19th
A decent slate on a Monday night here for college hoops, as we get five games as a nice surprise. I hope everyone enjoyed their MLK day, but now it is time to make some coin. Not a lot of value plays today, so we will look to go balanced and possibly fit Okafor if we have enough room.
Oklahoma at Kansas

Oklahoma
Ryan Spangler – Much more affordable than Hield, Spangler is coming off one of his better games of the year. Hield is the one who does the work on this team, but I feel like this is a trap game for his owners. He cannot get any more efficient than 10-of-10 from the field, and he is at Allen Fieldhouse, which is going to be much more difficult to do well in. Instead, I will go with Spangler, who has developed a bit of an outside shot but will bang in the paint with Alexander and Traylor in this one.
Kansas
Frank Mason – Mason is one of the most reliable guards on the slate, and you will not have to pay top dollar for him. Even with Graham back, he is still performing every single game and has a legitimate 20-point floor. Mason should excel at home against an up-tempo Oklahoma team, especially after a tough matchup with Iowa State on Saturday. Mason is one of my favorite plays on the board.
Kelly Oubre – I think that Oklahoma struggles to deal with Oubre today, as I am not sure that Cousins can match him one on one. Oubre’s price has gained steam, but I still think it is a bit lower than what it should be at home. I like him to hit value today and, in a slate of not very many value plays, he can provide nice guaranteed points.
