Thursday, February 12
We have a very interesting night for the first night of the NBA All-Star break, and the first night of the DraftKings March Mania Qualifiers. There are not a lot of high pace teams playing today, so most of the teams today are around the same game total. The key here is going to be to find value for your players as there are no real clear cut studs with great matchups on the docket.

Tulsa
Rashad Smith – This game really has no attractive element about it, but on a slate like this with not a lot of high scoring teams and everyone within about 15 projected points of each other, you cannot just ignore teams. Smith is a cheap play who could have a decent matchup today with some weak UConn wings. He is trusted to playing 30 minutes when out of foul trouble and playing well and that is really all you can ask for a $5,700 player.
Connecticut
Rodney Purvis – Again, I cannot stand recommending him at all, but here he is extremely cheap and with a monster usage rate over the last couple of games. Purvis is not very good, but his price below $5,000 dictates that you have to think about him on a shorter slate. He has the potential for a north of 20-point game and has reached that mark recently. The problem is that he is going to be against a really solid Tulsa defense and I am just having trouble loving anyone in this game.
Minnesota at Iowa
Minnesota | Iowa | |||||||
Vegas Total | 141 | Fast Break Pts/Gm | 9.50 | Vegas Total | 141 | Fast Break Pts/Gm | 9.00 | |

Minnesota
Andre Hollins – Minnesota has changed a ton since the beginning of the season. At first they were playing a decent rotation, a lot of zone, and using pressure defense to create turnovers. They have somewhat switched as they are playing slow tempo, short rotation but still creating a decent amount of turnovers. Hollins is a great play on FanDuel because his price has still not completely adjusted to his role as the #1 guy on Minnesota after his foot issue.
Iowa
Aaron White – White could possibly go down as the top play of the day today. He has the highest usage rate on Iowa with the best rebounding numbers and has posted solid stat lines since his shoulder stinger. White is the best guarantee you can get for 25-35 points on this slate and plays for the team with the highest projected score. He is not one of the most expensive either, so feel free to plug him in.
Jarrod Uthoff – Both big Iowa guys are in play today against Minnesota, as they have the usage rate and the skill to dominate this Minnesota team, especially in Carver-Hawkeye. Uthoff has block and steal upside for FanDuel lineups and even though he has not been great lately, he is going to benefit from playing a poor Minnesota team at home rather than the absolute snail type games Iowa has been playing lately.
