Tuesday, November 18th

FanDuel really did a nice job of pricing a ton of guys out of range today. I like tough, but there really aren’t too many value options on this slate. There really are not any targetable games as most have the same over/unders so you need to hit on value tonight.

Duke

Prime Plays

Amile Jefferson – Okafor’s price is crazy high today, Winslow is too high as well and Michigan State always plays good defense. The guy I like the most is going to be Jefferson who is a cheap forward who should get you about 20 points and not cost you an arm and a leg. This is a difficult slate tonight on FanDuel, and a cheap guy who can grab 10 rebounds and score 8 points with a couple of blocks should not be ignored.

Secondary Plays

Jahlil Okafor – Okafor is obviously a stud and is a lock for 17 and 8 but you are really going to need a lot from him today due to his massive price. He is definitely in play because Michigan State has no one to match up with him, but facing a good team and a slow pace we could see a dud.

Tyus Jones – Jones is cheap and I like him more than Cook today. He should play almost the entire game as this is the first worthwhile opponent that Duke has faced. Jones is a stud in the making and should be able to rack up the assists and a few easy baskets tonight.

Michigan State

Prime Plays

Denzel Valentine – I really like Valentine tonight. He is cheaper than Trice and Dawson and has three ways to impact the scoresheet. He has not been great to start the year, but he is going to have some huge games this year. If you can fit him in, he should be a great play on this short game slate.

Secondary Plays

Matt Costello – Costello really is not a great basketball player but he is tall, can dunk the ball when given the shot and he has defensive prowess. He is a cheap option that is going to see a ton of minutes and pick up around ten rebounds. On FanDuel at this point I am just trying to find any value that might fill out a lineup.
