CBB Slate Breakdown: December 10th

Hopefully, everyone had a profitable last couple of days with the big contests. We will get smaller ones here as there are not many games on these next two slates. We do have a couple of interesting games on this slate, like the NDSU/SDSU game and the Arizona State/San Diego State matchup, so not all is lost. Let’s get into it.

Portland (65), Tempo: 72

Portland has the lowest implied total on the board, but there are some viable plays here. Latrell Jones ($4,900) has been the best rebounder on the team after transferring in from JUCO, and is one of the cheaper values on this slate. He may not have a ton of rebounding opportunities if Oregon State is not going to miss a lot of shots against this poor defense, but he also has a 25% shot rate and should be playing most of the game. Ahmed Ali ($7,900), the Washington State transfer, is taking a ton of shots (30% shot rate), and assisting at a high clip. He has been so effective because of his ability to get to the line and shoot FTs at 85%, but he really did not show that at Washington State.
