CBB Slate Breakdown: Wednesday, Februrary 23rd

We have the biggest slate of the year today! DK has put out a very nice $333 and I think the largest $18 that we have seen all season. The overall strategy here should be very interesting – the value plays tonight are not absolute slam dunks like they were last night, so I bet we see some distributed ownership. Let’s get right into it today as it’s another large 12 gamer.

Mississippi State (69)

The Cam Carter ($4,200) experiment seems to have ended here as Carter has only played 15 minutes in each of the last two games. With Tolu Smith ($6,000) back, Ben Howland continues to go big with Smith, Garrison Brooks ($7,000) and D.J. Jeffries ($6,100) most of the game with Andersson Garcia ($3,400) also playing a pretty big part of the team as well. The only true guard to get minutes is Iverson Molinar ($7,900) who has seen a price decrease after two terrible performances against Missouri. Maybe he just doesn’t like Missouri, but Molinar has been one of the most consistent players all season – he’s an interesting GPP play at this lower price.
