Everyone, we are going to shake things up a bit and shift this late slate breakdown from the standard game-by-game breakdown into a positional-focused analysis, with emphasis on various price points to assist with various roster constructions. Please give feedback. If you hate this, let me know! We can switch back with ease.

Quarterbacks

Matt Corral (DK $9,600) vs Tulane

There’s not much to really say to back a pick like Matt Corral as your quarterback in DFS. He has two games this season where he’s now averaging 331 yards and 3 TDs through the air while completing 64.2 percent of his passes. Competition in this one against Tulane figures to be a step up from Austin Peay, but it shouldn’t be that much different than Louisville. Tulane has proven that their offense is up to the task to hang with the likes of Oklahoma. That means this matchup which has a total of 74.5 (largest of any game on a DFS slate so far this season) should have plenty of opportunities for Corral to pay off his gargantuan salary. It’s important to also remember that Corral can run. He has 114 yards on just 7 attempts so far this season. He had at least 43 yards rushing in nearly half of Ole Miss games last season and had a 168 yard peak performance against LSU. I think you can work in his salary. I’d also be looking to pair him up with one of his pass catchers.
