College football had an awesome Week 2 with the Texas comeback, the Michigan bounce-back, and the Oregon failure. This weekend’s main slate has a mix of competitive matchups, games with significant importance for the rest of the season, and, of course, some blowouts. Figuring out Ohio State, USC, Utah, and Penn State will be some of the keys to this slate.

Pricing is starting to get better, with the QB and RB positions not having nearly as much value. The WR pricing, however, is horrendous. There are multiple sub-$5,000 options we’ll talk about on this slate that deserve much more love.

CFB DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, & WRs for Week 3

It’s still too early to have a ton of takeaways on these graphs.

Stanford attempted to play man coverage against Miami, and Malachi Toney absolutely destroyed them. The bounce back should be there against Duke, which doesn’t seem to have much interest in running the ball this season.

SMU’s zone coverage usage should cause some chaos for Lincoln Kienholz. He’s been a rollercoaster at QB, and it’s going to be intriguing to see how he continues to develop. Both SMU and Louisville are living in zone coverage, and I expect that to continue as they both face running QBs this weekend.

Utah is living in Cover 1 or Cover 3, and I’d expect the same here against Utah State. Texas A&M’s defense was not impressive against Arizona State, and I’m intrigued to see how Kenny Minchey and Kentucky can bounce back in a tough matchup.

South Carolina runs a lot of two-high coverage, and I expect that to remain the same against Kamario Taylor. They’ll try to keep their eyes on the backfield and hope the front four can control the line of scrimmage.

Game Stacks

Kamario Taylor ($8,800, QB, Mississippi State)

Anthony Evans III ($6,500, WR, Mississippi State) or Zion Ragins ($4,800, WR, Mississippi State)

LaNorris Sellers ($8,100, QB, South Carolina)

Nyck Harbor ($3,900, WR, South Carolina)

Mazeo Bennett Jr. ($3,100, WR, South Carolina)

Taylor is one of the most electric QBs in the country, and I want to pair him with Evans. If I can’t afford that build, Ragins is a fine pairing option. Those two control the air yards for this team, while Evans has been incredible over the middle of the field.

South Carolina hasn’t faced much competition yet, so this will be a huge test for Taylor and this Mississippi State offense.

I want both Harbor and Bennett in this game against Mississippi State because they have been the primary targets even in blowout games. One thing I want to point out is that Harbor’s aDOT is only 3.0, and I expect that to change in a big way this weekend.

If teams continue to play off coverage against him, South Carolina will keep taking the easy completions, but I also expect them to attack over the top with Harbor as the game progresses. Harbor has a safe floor in this offense with a massive ceiling, and at this price tag, I think he’s the best play on the slate.
