CFB DFS DraftKings Main Slate Breakdown: Week 13

Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell

Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming CFB DFS main slate on DraftKings for Week 13. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, and wide receivers is a must-read before you start building your lineups.

Week 13 is going to be filled with chaos because we have a lot of injuries to monitor and a lot of guesswork with the situations playing out. Ohio State’s WRs are the talk of this because stars Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate might not be playing this weekend against a Rutgers team while they are big favorites. There’s one player the data points to that’s got the ability to figure it out, but I don’t think he’s all that efficient with the ball in his hands.

Those injuries will be captured in our CFB DFS projections and will be updated throughout Saturday’s slate. Our projections team will also be posting real-time updates in the RotoGrinders Discord and telling you what news came in to change the projection.

CFB DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, & WRs for Week 13

man vs. zone coverage percentages 2025

The biggest standout from the chart is Rutgers’ man-coverage rate — they’ve played man at one of the highest clips in the nation against every type of opponent. With Ohio State’s WR room banged up, this could open the door for some strong value plays if those backups step into full-time roles against heavy man.

On the zone side, Virginia Tech lives in zone and almost never comes out of it. Miami has two clear zone beaters in Malachi Toney and CJ Daniels, but the issue is volume — they win in the matchup, but the target consolidation just isn’t strong enough to treat them as must-plays.

single vs. two-high coverage percentages 2025

Utah loves to sit in Cover 1 and Cover 3 and ranks among the highest-usage single-high defenses in the country. SMU and Missouri also live in Cover 3, which is why they aren’t heavy man-coverage teams. The SMU matchup is especially intriguing because Louisville has a WR averaging 3.5 yards per route run vs single-high looks this season.

A handful of teams lean on Cover 2, Cover 2 Man, or Cover 4 — most notably Houston, UCONN, and Oregon. Oregon is the one I expect to play a ton of Cover 2 Man this weekend to give extra help on Makai Lemon in the slot. It’s a great matchup for him and one I’m really excited to target.

Game Stacks

Taylen Green ($7,500, QB, Arkansas)

O’Mega Blake ($6,500, WR, Arkansas)

Ryan Wingo ($6,600, WR, Texas)

Quintrevion Wisner ($5,900, RB, Texas)

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green

Texas has quietly regressed defensively, allowing over 5.0 yards per play in 3 straight games after doing it just once in their first 8. Two opponents have thrown for 300+ yards during this stretch, they’ve had repeated coverage busts, and they’ve surrendered 12 passing touchdowns. They also haven’t seen a rushing QB of this caliber — and even Diego Pavia and Gunner Stockton found success on the ground before sack yardage wiped some of it away.

O’Mega Blake hasn’t produced lately, but he’s still playing full snaps, and Texas has specifically struggled on the boundary during this defensive slide. His target share could easily rebound to what it was before Raylen Sharpe’s breakout. Both receivers are viable, but for GPPs, Blake is the one with the ceiling outcome you want to chase.

The Texas side is pretty straightforward for me. Ryan Wingo and Arch Manning have finally gotten in sync, and Wingo has cleared a 20% target share in 3 straight games when fully healthy. Then there’s Wisner — he didn’t see much work against Georgia because of the game script, but he dominated the rushing workload versus Vanderbilt, and this matchup sets up much more like that one. Texas should be able to run the ball effectively here, making Wisner a strong play.
