CFB DFS DraftKings Main Slate Breakdown: Week 4

TCU quarterback Josh Hoover

Using his experience as a former scout and staff member at Central Florida under Josh Heupel, Jordan Vanek takes an in-depth look at the upcoming CFB DFS main slate on DraftKings for Week 4. Formerly of The 33rd Team and 4for4 Fantasy Football, Jordan’s deep dive into the best stacks, running backs, and wide receivers is a must-read before you start building your lineups.

Week 3 featured some incredible games, and if Desmond Reid had stayed healthy, my Bryce Underwood builds would have been much closer to the top of the leaderboard. That’s the nature of DFS, though—and now we have another chance to chase a big score. Having an 11-game slate this weekend really helps with research, and there are several games I’m excited to target. As the season progresses, more data becomes available, and with that comes an even bigger edge.

As always, check out our CFB DFS projections. They’ll be constantly updating on Saturday as news breaks, helping you build the best lineups. You’ll also get massive opportunities for late swapping, and this week there are a few key injuries to keep an eye on.

CFB DFS DraftKings Picks: Top Stacks, RBs, & WRs for Week 4

Nebraska stands out to me this weekend against Michigan because of Bryce Underwood showcasing his legs. The man coverage rate of Nebraska led Brendan Sorsby to 13 rushes for 93 yards and 2 touchdowns. Underwood just had 9 for 114 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns. This doesn’t lead me to play Underwood because when you have to think of the QB using his legs, it really opens things up for the running back.

NC State lives in zone coverage, and there is one Duke WR that really stands out above the rest this weekend. Duke will need the OL to hold up and give Mensah time to be able to go through his reads and produce.

SMU simply lives in single-high coverage, and against TCU there is one clear favorite for Josh Hoover this season against single-high looks, and he’s been dominating people on the boundary. SMU hasn’t gotten pressure this year and needs to in order to slow down the TCU passing game.

Oklahoma is such an intriguing matchup with Auburn because they mix things up well, but Jackson Arnold was there for multiple years. That is one of the more intriguing games on the entire slate and one that I am looking forward to seeing play out.
