CFB DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Week 7 Picks

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

headChopper: Michael Hawkins Jr. (FD) / J’Koby Williams (DK)
MrTuttle05: Michael Hawkins Jr. (FD) / J’Koby Williams (DK)
stlcardinals84: Michael Hawkins Jr. (FD) / Jamal Roberts (DK)
Jordan Vanek: Deuce Alexander

How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: This looks like a great week to game stack. I’m usually a proponent of just playing the best players you can fit under the salary cap while building some correlation into your lineup. But there are several games this week that look like they could turn into absolute shootouts featuring highly efficient offenses, and I don’t mind taking stabs on games like that. On DraftKings, Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech is very intriguing from a stacking perspective. On FanDuel, the night game between Houston and Oklahoma State could be the most efficient offensive game of the entire day. And there are plenty of other games on both sites that fit that same mold.

MrTuttle05: This week’s DraftKings pricing is super flat, unlike anything we have seen this season. As a result, I’ll spread out my exposure, especially at the QB position.

stlcardinals84: I plan to be the most overweight on the skill players in the MIZZ/MISS game. Both of these teams are explosive, we have clear top targets at wide receiver for both squads, the game should be close, and we have a 60-point total. If there’s a game that goes off for a lot of points, I think that’s the one. I will have plenty of game stacks built around different potential game-flow scenarios.

Jordan Vanek: I think this slate comes down to the RB value. There’s more cheap RB production available than we’ve seen all year – Trelain Maddox at $5,400, Quinten Joyner at $4,600, Dwight Phillips at $4,900 – and I think the field is going to jam in the expensive QBs and pay down at RB with the wrong guys. I’d rather flip it: get my QB exposure through the cheaper stacks like Ethan Grunkemeyer + Luke Reynolds/Que’Sean Brown or Cutter Boley + Reed Harris/Omarion Miller, and spend up at RB where the workload is concentrated. Jamal Roberts is getting the ball every other play for Missouri, and I still think he’s $1,000 underpriced.

What is your favorite correlation and why?
