CFB DFS DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey: Week 8 Picks
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

MrTuttle05: DeSean Bishop (FD) / Kamari Moulton (DK)
stlcardinals84: Malachi Toney (FD) / Kamari Moulton (DK)
Jordan Vanek: J’Koby Williams
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: This looks like a slate with a couple of solid offensive games and a whole lot of good defenses shutting down their opponents elsewhere. I think we’ve seen by now that there’s always an opportunity to game stack any West Virginia game this year, but I actually think TCU slows this one down and plays some pretty tough defense. Overall, I’m not seeing many appealing game-stacking opportunities on this main slate, so I’ll probably cap my lineups at two players per team. No true team or game stacks outside of the normal QB-to-WR correlations.
MrTuttle05: I’ll build balanced on DraftKings and more top-heavy on FanDuel. This is basically the opposite of how I think the field will be building. On DraftKings especially, we’ll see a lot of ownership on the sub-$5,000 receivers.
stlcardinals84: West Virginia’s defense is just so bad that I have no choice but to roll out plenty of TCU exposure. We need to keep a close eye on the status of Jeremy Payne. If he’s a full go, he makes for a great contrarian play. Otherwise, I will load up on exposure to the TCU passing game, and I love using Cam Cook as a contrarian run-back on the other side. I will be overweight on this game as a whole, and I also like getting some pieces of the TENN/SCAR game individually and as part of a more contrarian game stack.
Jordan Vanek: The WR position is pretty weak overall, but I actually think there are a ton of options with lower pOWN% that I really like. For starters, Jordan Dwyer is the best TCU WR from just about every matchup perspective I look at, yet the field doesn’t seem particularly interested in him. Daylyn Upshaw is in an incredible spot from a metrics standpoint against a Pittsburgh defense that loves to blitz out of two-high shells. Then you have LSU WRs Trey’Dez Green and Winston Watkins, who both stand out to me as strong plays but aren’t getting nearly as much attention from the field. From there, it’s really about figuring out which combinations fit my lineups and how I can work in some of the expensive RBs I love on this slate. There are a few I really want to prioritize, and I think taking advantage of these lower-owned WRs is one of the best ways to make that happen.
What is your favorite correlation and why?
