What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: Mainly focused on large-field GPPs, but I’ll mix in some hand-built lineups in small-field contests that have limited entries. As we get closer to kickoff, I’ll be checking pOWN% to see who ends up chalk. With so few true must-plays, I’m willing to be underweight on just about anyone who gets steamed. If there’s one spot I plan to leverage, it’s being heavier on the Notre Dame passing game and underweight on their running game.

MrTuttle05: Large-field tournaments – I’ll likely game-stack at a higher rate than normal this weekend. This slate has some slow-paced games, while games like ARIZ/CINCY and UVA/DUKE stand out as games that could spike from a volume perspective.

stlcardinals84: I am going to have a relatively narrow player pool, so I plan to enter 3-5 lineups in the larger-field tournaments. I will focus on spending up for my QB1 in each lineup, as there is plenty of cheap value to be found at both RB and WR. I will definitely be overweight on the Duke wide receivers as my primary flag-plant stance.

Jordan Vanek: I’m mainly focusing on large-field GPPs, which means leaning heavily into game stacks to gain leverage. There are a few matchups with true shootout potential, while many others look slow or lopsided – making correlation even more important than usual. I also expect the field to chase Jeff Sims’ recent rushing production, but that sets up a great game-theory angle. West Virginia has actually defended rushing quarterbacks pretty well, yet they’ve been exposed repeatedly through the air. That’s why I prefer targeting Arizona State’s pass-catchers to capture Sims’ production. And if Sims isn’t as effective on the ground, he becomes far less appealing, especially with several quarterbacks in the same price range sitting in much better passing environments.

Who is your favorite overall play when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc. and why?
