Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I am playing multi-entry lineups in large-field GPPs this slate. I’m condensing my player pool more than usual and spending up at QB. Wide receiver is where I’ll have the most players because it brings the most variance this week. It’s also the best place to save salary, so I’ll have a wide mix of cheap WRs rounding out my builds. Roughly the top 5 or so QBs are really good runners and don’t even need to be stacked if you want to get different that way.

stlcardinals84: I will be playing three entries in the larger-field GPP contests. On the whole, I really don’t think this slate is all that exciting, but I am intrigued by some pieces of the CINCY/TCU game. I picked this one as my sneaky shootout, as I think it has the potential to be the highest-scoring game of the day despite having a total sitting under 60 points. Both teams are capable of explosive plays with veteran quarterbacks, and I plan to be overweight on both passing games. One of my lineups will also be a game stack of 5 or more players from this game.

Jordan Vanek: I’m playing multi-entry in the large-field GPPs because my player pool is far more condensed than usual. I’m mostly staying away from games like OSU/MICH and ORE/UW, and on FanDuel, that also includes BAMA/AUB and UCF/BYU. My main leverage point is one player: Elija Lofton. He’s my favorite way to get different on this slate, and I think he has a legit path to 20+ DK/FD points at a great value on both sites.
