What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: I am playing large-field GPPs and multi-entering them. I think the biggest thing that will make my rosters unique is my lack of QB-to-WR stacking. I like stacking in some game stacks, but outside of a couple of quarterbacks, these guys don’t need to be stacked with a pass-catcher – yet most people will do it anyway. Even some of the QBs who do pass effectively spread the ball around so much that stacking becomes difficult (Ole Miss is a good example).
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 10 entries in the larger-field contests. I plan to do a bit of game-stacking, as we have 2 games with totals of 62+ points – Temple at North Texas and the Egg Bowl between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. I like the shootout potential of those games, and I will also be overweight on some Utah and Kansas players with that game being my sneaky potential shootout.
Jordan Vanek: I’ll mostly be playing large-field tournaments, and my plan to get different is by loading up on North Texas passing stacks while pairing them with the higher-tier RBs, like Kamari Moulton and Kewan Lacy. The secondary-stacking path is either fitting in Gunner Stockton or rolling with a pure runner like Devon Dampier, Jalon Daniels, or even Jalen Macon – all of whom could post a big rushing game if they’re playing from ahead.
