What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

headChopper: I’m playing some hand-built lineups in smaller-field tournaments with high buy-ins and then using our CFB DFS optimizer (LineupHQ) to build large-field tournament lineups. This week, I see a lot of good QB plays that don’t need to be stacked, so I’ll be well underweight compared to the field on stacking those dual-threat QBs. That should help me get different.

MrTuttle05: Large-field tournaments – I will spread out exposure on some lower-priced RBs. Pending injuries, there are 3-5 RBs below $4,000 on DraftKings that I have interest in, with my favorite options being Clay Ash, Kevin Riley, and Tory Blaylock. On FanDuel, I have interest in J’Kobi Williams, Cameron Dickey, and James Peoples, who are all priced at or below $6,100.

stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 10 entries in the large-field tournaments. This is an intriguing slate with a little more injury news than we have had over the past few weeks. I will be keeping a close eye on news out of Alabama, as we can get some value at running back if Jam Miller sits again this week, and I really like Ryan Williams in his return from a concussion. I will be overweight on the Alabama, Texas Tech, and Oregon State offenses on both FD and DK.

Jordan Vanek: I’ll be hand-building lineups for large-field tournaments, with a focus on game-stacking certain environments. Leaning into cheap QBs should be a unique approach compared to the field, and I see multiple paths where that pays off in a big way. It also flips roster construction, allowing exposure to high-priced RBs and WRs with explosive upside. On top of that, there are teams on this slate that project as strong defenses but, in reality, aren’t nearly as good as they look on paper.

What is your favorite correlation and why?
