What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play this week? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
headChopper: The majority of my play will be in smaller-field GPPs with limited entries, but I’ll sprinkle in some large-field contests as well. With roughly 75% of the teams having an implied team total of 24 or more points, it’s tough to completely eliminate any team. I’ll set a rule in my lineups to limit players from each team to just one unless it’s my primary stack. This should give me a good spread of exposure across most of these games.
MrTuttle05: Large-field tournaments – Once again, we have another week where diversifying your portfolio is key to constructing large-field tournament lineups. Baylor is one of the most relevant teams on the slate, but their target tree is so wide that you’ll want to grab exposure to all of their pass-catchers if multi-entering.
stlcardinals84: I will be playing around 10 entries in the larger-field tournaments. The nature of the slate has me doing less game-stacking than usual. The top quarterbacks don’t need to be paired with pass-catchers, and there is a lot of individual player upside on this slate. This is a much different approach than I usually take. I will be most overweight on the Georgia Tech, Arkansas, and Washington (on FD) skill players.
Jordan Vanek: I will be playing large-field tournaments. I think the chalk is the most fadable it has been this season. On both sites, the RB position is my focal point – it’s the most fragile it has been all season, in my opinion, and I think there’s going to be a significant score that makes the difference. That’s going to make or break the slate.
Who is your favorite overall play when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc. and why?
