What’s the best position to spend up on this week?
What’s the best position to save salary on this week?
Which game has sneaky shootout potential this week?
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
psufans2: Donovan Ollie has 29 targets in his last 3 games. That is fantastic expected volume for someone at 3500 on DK.
headChopper: Rashee Rice has 12, 13 and then 19 targets in the games so far this year. He has a whopping 172 yards receiving more than the next closest player on this slate.
STLCardinals84: As we head into conference play soon, it’s odd to note that the Big 10 has four teams in the top 15 in FBS in plays per game (Northwestern, Indiana, Purdue, and Illinois). Indiana is a decent team to target here as the only one of those teams on a main slate this week (on DK), especially with their cheap WRs.
What’s your hot take of the week?
psufans2: Robby Ashford puts up 20+ points at a cheap price point on both sites as long as he gets the whole game for Auburn.
headChopper: After 2 terrible games, Anthony Richardson runs for 100+ yards and puts up a monster game in a shootout with Tennessee… and he isn’t even the highest scoring QB in that game.
STLCardinals84: Drake Maye accounts for six total touchdowns and is the top scoring QB on the slate.
What is your favorite correlation of the week and why?
psufans2: Rashee Rice has been just getting fed the ball by Tanner Mordecai. The volume is very concentrated to him.
headChopper: Tanner Mordecai to Rashee Rice. There’s not many really good QB to WR spots this slate. But the SMU connection is one of my favorite QBs with my favorite WRs so it makes sense. Rice has 132+ yards in each game this season. Mordecai has 3+ passing TDs in each game this season. His game could shootout.
STLCardinals84: Mordecai to Rice feels like a free square this week given the projected total in that game and Rice’s massive target share. There’s also plenty of value on this slate to where you can fit them in comfortably.
Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
psufans2: Bijan Robinson differentiates compared to everyone else and looks to me to be the best running back on Saturday on both main slates by a decent margin.
headChopper: Bijan Robinson. This is just the best RB in the nation and he’s going to need to do more with the QB injuries at Texas. It’s a solid matchup and the game should be close enough that he is on the field, getting touches, deep in the 4th quarter.
STLCardinals84: Bijan Robinson – He should be a little more expensive than he is, and I would expect him to be at Ibrahim levels before long. Robinson had a 20/183/3 line against UTSA last week and should continue to thrive in a pace up game against Texas Tech.
