CFB Slate Breakdown: Week 3 (Main Slate)

This week, I tried to add in some relevant stats for the early part of the season. Ideally, I would like to separate defense into two categories – rush defense vs pass defense so we can tell where to attack in the offense. The offensive number I am not sure if all that relevant, considering the fact that I generally talk about the offense (I rarely talk about individual defensive players). I also added in plays per game, as I think that is a decent predictor of potential shootout games, which is integral in terms of stacking to maximize upside for the bigger GPPs. I will continue to hone the stats (I would prefer there be as few stats as possible – when there are too many stats it becomes a bit clunky to read and digest quickly; the sweet spot is having relevant stats while keeping it easy to read.
Anyway, let’s get into week 3.

Nebraska (19.5)

Offense: 43rd
Defense 30th
Plays per Game: 68
