Happy Autumn Equinox! At first I was just going to say the usual Happy Wednesday! Then I realized it is the 21st, so I thought I’d say Happy Fall Solstice! But then I wasn’t sure it was the right day, so I asked Jeeves. Turns out that Solstice is only the term for December and June, while Equinox is the term for March and September. Hmmm, I had no idea. Now I do. From my 3.2 minutes of ‘research’, I could give you a little science lesson on the difference between Equinox and Solstice, or also, I could just not do that.

We’ve got an interesting 9-game main slate tonight with a good bit of everything. There is a little bit of weather concern at Coors Field as well as in Kansas City, but the early RothCast has both games at Yellow, so for now, it’s all systems go.
