CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Friday, April 9th

Typically, Fridays are going to have large slates with the majority of teams on the main slate. But, for these first couple weeks, we’re getting shorter Friday slates as the schedule slowly rounds into form. This leaves us with just six games on the main slate tonight, with no Coors Field and no high-end ace pitchers on the mound.

FRIDAY NIGHT PITCHING

We don’t really have different tiers of

Zack Wheeler at Braves – 22.7% K, 5.8% BB, 3.59 ERA, 4.16 SIERA
Joe Musgrove at Rangers – 24.3% K, 6.1% BB, 4.21 ERA, 4.06 SIERA
Lance McCullers vs A’s – 25.5% K, 9.3% BB, 3.75 ERA, 3.87 SIERA
Zach Plesac vs Tigers – 21.1% K, 6.8% BB, 3.31 ERA, 4.59 SIERA
Tyler Mahle at Diamondbacks – 25.4% K, 7.3% BB, 4.69 ERA, 4.10 SIERA
Charlie Morton vs Phillies – 29.2% K, 7% BB, 3.37 ERA, 3.62 SIERA
Andrew Heaney at Blue Jays – 27.3% K, 7.2% BB, 5.02 ERA, 3.95 SIERA

FanDuel has shown a bit of respect to Zack Wheeler, pricing him up at $10,500, along with Joe Musgrove at $9,700. However, on DK, Zach Plesac is the highest priced option at $9,600, while Musgrove and Wheeler are both under $9k. Among the pitchers mentioned above, there is no one below $7,000 on either site, which again leaves us with such a condensed salary gap that you can basically play whatever pitchers you like for raw points without much concern for cost.
