CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Friday, August 13th

Happy Friday! We’ve got a big 14-game slate tonight with a ton of pitching and plenty of offense and questionable weather. Fortunately, the three main weather concerns are the first three games of the night, so we’ll be able to make a decision on them before lock. Because two of those weather games include Zack Wheeler and Charlie Morton, it’s a different slate if things worsen in those two spots, but for now, they look more likely to be OK. For now, I’m only avoiding pitching in the Brewers-Pirates game, and that is not just because of the rain. So, full speed ahead, let’s see what we have.

Friday Night Pitching

This slate is officially bonkers on the pitching side. There are only three pitchers on the entire slate that I can completely throw away without even mentioning their name. This leaves us a whopping 25 pitchers to look at. However, the good news is I am not actually going to look at all of them. The vast majority of these are going to be easy to cross off the primary list. It’s just that they are all close enough to the other pitchers in their pricing tiers that they deserve to be mentioned. I’m doing these buckets off of DK pricing, and for the most part, they are separated similarly on FD:
