Happy Tuesday! The Tom Foolery will have to wait as we have a busy day upcoming. We have a 5-game early slate starting at 12:10pm ET and then a couple different main slates, with a 7:05pm ET start time on DK, but a 6:40 start time on FD to include two additional games. Both slates are loaded up with high end pitching and that’s where we begin.

For just a five-game slate, we have a lot to choose from with the arms today:

Still Just One Ace
Walker Buehler and Max Fried are both excellent real-life pitchers, both with ERA’s below 3.15 to open the season. However, the strikeouts are so heavily skewed to Corbin Burnes, that there’s really no need for hemming and hawing here:
Corbin Burnes vs Braves – 33.5% K, 4.7% BB, 1.77 ERA, 2.28 SIERA
Walker Buehler vs Diamondbacks – 20.3% K, 5.8% BB, 2.81 ERA, 3.76 SIERA
Max Fried at Brewers – 23.8% K, 2.3% BB, 3.14 ERA, 2.81 SIERA
