CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Monday, April 26th

Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I enjoyed my trip to the new barbecue restaurant in town. New barbecue restaurants pop up all the time in these parts, to varying degrees of success. This one is a winner! Tentatively, I’ve got it ranked 3rd in the area power poll of BBQ, but it will take some more sample size before we can say this for sure. I was pretty hungry, so it was a good matchup, and because it was it’s first start, the salary was low. We’ll see how it holds up next time when the expectations are higher. I also had chocolate pie, so everything is going great.

Hey, baseball!

But as we said before his last outing, even if this newfound control isn’t completely real, and even if the strikeout boost isn’t completely real, this guy was still an absolute ace in 2020. But for now, forget 2020 and look at his first four starts of 2021 – 40 strikeouts and zero walks in 24 innings.
