CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Monday, August 9th

Happy Monday! We’ve got a quiet day with just five games on the MLB schedule tonight. The sites are running things a little differently, with DraftKings starting an hour earlier than usual to include all five games. This means you’ll need to have those lineups in by 6:10pm ET, while the next game doesn’t begin for another two hours. FanDuel is including just the four later games, which begins at 8:05 pm ET. This makes things a bit interesting, as we may not have all the lineups for the later games by the time the DK slate starts. You’ll need to stay on your toes there, but let’s be honest, you are always on your toes!

We’ve also got some interesting weather to keep tabs on in Chicago, where the wind is blowing out at Wrigley and we’ve also got rain chances throughout the game. For now, I’m writing this as if that game plays, but it’s a straight Orange rating to begin, and Roth sounding less than optimistic.

Monday Night Pitching

For a small slate, we have a lot of good pitching. Several of these pitchers are of the ‘occasional ace’ variety.
