Is your lineup Premium Approved? In this space, either CheeseIsGood or STLCardinals84 will break down the slate from top-to-bottom like no one else in the industry can – exploring the matchups from every angle, steering you toward the best plays on the day, and helping you become a better and more complete DFS player as you continually expose yourself to the “process” and the “why,” rather than just looking at the “what.” Have a boat? We’ll teach you how to fish.
Saturday, April 7th
Another day, another split slate. This is just what we have to deal with this season. If you prefer shorter slates, and more options of times to play, then you might love it. If you’re a fan of the full slates, well, we will keep on waiting. For the early slate, it gets even trickier with FanDuel only including the first six games, while DraftKings and FantasyDraft have eight games included. I’ll talk about all eight games, and if you’re on FanDuel, you’ll miss out on the Brewers-Cubs and Royals-Indians, unless you want to jump into the All-Day slate there. The Main evening slate features a Coors Field game for the bats and one of the weakest group of pitchers we’ve seen so far this season.
EARLY SLATE PITCHING
We don’t have elite level aces, but there are several very strong pitching options on the early slate. Let’s start with Mr. Complete Game Shutout himself.
