CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Thursday, July 29th

Happy Thursday! We’ve got games spread throughout the day, which means that we have a variety of different slates depending on what site you’re playing on. The main slate is a 5-gamer starting at the usual 7:05 pm ET. On DK, we’ve got a six-game day slate starting at 12:10 pm, while FD has split things into a 4-game early slate and then a 3-gamer in the afternoon. For content, this is always difficult, but for watching baseball, it’s fantastic to have games on all day long. Let’s start with a quick look at these early slates, and then I’ll be back in a bit with the evening slate breakdown.

We are loaded with pitching on this small slate. Let’s take a look at everyone for the six-game DK slate and then we’ll break out the FD differences after that. I’ve got things grouped into three tiers that look like this:

ACES

Gerrit Cole at Rays
Zack Wheeler vs Nationals
Carlos Rodon at Royals

MID-TIER

Luis Castillo at Cubs
Taijuan Walker vs Braves

CHEAPER OPTIONS

David Price at Giants
Drew Smyly at Mets
Luis Patino vs Yankees
