CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Thursday, September 23rd

Happy Thursday! We’ve got games spread out all over the place today with a couple different slates. The main evening slate is uneven with DK starting at 6:40pm ET with 5 games and FD running a 4-gamer at 7:05. As for the earlier games, each slate has a 5-game slate starting at 2:10pm. We’ve also got some rain concerns in Philadelphia, which could throw the main slate into whack if Aaron Nola is at risk. I’ll start with a look at this interesting early slate which is headlined by Max Scherzer pitching in Coors Field.

Five Aces In The Afternoon

Max Scherzer at Rockies
Yu Darvish vs Giants
Charlie Morton at Diamondbacks
Logan Webb at Padres
Adam Wainwright at Brewers

This is a lot of good pitching for a small slate, and doesn’t even include more decent pitchers like Yusei Kikuchi, Madison Bumgarner, Adrian Houser and Chris Bassitt. I will end up considering Yusei Kikuchi on DK because of his salary, but otherwise, I want to stick with these top five.
