CheeseIsGood's Million Dollar Musings: Tuesday, May 4th

Happy Tuesday! Hopefully we end up with a little bit less to deal with than we saw on Monday with multiple rainouts and pitcher scratches. There is still rain in the forecast in several of these games, but none of them look as dire as yesterday. There is a slight difference between the sites, with DK including the 2nd game of the Dodgers-Cubs doubleheader, which brings another high-end pitching choice into play. I see it as a good thing that we end up missing the Coors Field games due to the double-header, as that stops us from having to worry about the ownership situation.

Let’s begin with a look at these pitchers, which means, we start with the other-worldly talent of Jacob deGrom.

Tuesday Night Pitching

Three Aces, Or One Superhero and Two Aces

Jacob deGrom at St. Louis
Aaron Nola vs Milwaukee
Trevor Bauer at Chicago Cubs (DK)

There is no discussion needed on whether or not Jacob deGrom is the best pitcher on this slate, or any slate. The only question is how the pricing works out in comparison to some other strong options.
