TOO MANY BATS
Oh my goodness gracious! We have the Cubs against James Shields, the Indians against Ricky Nolasco, the Rangers against Jose Urena, the A’s against Marco Estrada, the Blue Jays against Paul Blackburn, the Tigers against Ian Kennedy and the Mets against Jhoulys Chacin. That doesn’t even take into account strong hitters for the Dodgers, Astros, Nationals, Brewers, Cardinals and Twins that all deserve some sort of look as well.
At least a few of these teams should be able to go absolutely bonkers tonight and make these opposing pitchers look like, well you know what I want to say. I’ll walk through these top teams and see if we can narrow it down at all, but it’s going to be tough to narrow it down too far. The good thing about so many obvious spots is that ownership may not end up being a huge issue in tournaments. If it is going to be an issue, my hunch is that it would be with the Cubs, so let’s start there.
