College Football Baker's Dozen - Week 2

Welcome to the Weekly College Football Baker’s Dozen! Each week I’ll be bringing you my list of 13 games, and or players to be targeting to win all the points.

It’s Friday already which means tomorrow is payday! The massive amounts of marketing from the Big 2 are sure to have brought in some new players so don’t forget to play in as many H2Hs and Double Ups as you can, they have a much better return than GPPs which is CFB you pretty much have to have all your roster spots go off.

Here are the 13 things I am looking forward to this week!

1. Bradley Marquez and DeAndre Washington – Fanduel has given us a couple of gifts this week with 2 starters for Texas Tech going against UTEP for min salary. You can plug these 2 in your lineup and then just pick a stud for your other 5 spots.

2. Jamison Crowder – Public Service Announcement – Crowder will be on this list every single week he is active. He is pretty much a lock for 10 RECs and 100 yards every week. He gets Troy this week so plug and play.

3. Keenan Reynolds – Every year Reynolds seems to have 1 or 2 games where he goes ape and gets 200 yards and 3 TDs. I think this could be that week.

4. Travis Wilson & Dres Anderson – I think Fresno will keep this game close and this could be a very high scoring game. If it is, I think Wilson could throw for 2 TDs and Rush for 2 TDs and Anderson should be able to duplicate what USC’s WRs did last week. I think this could be a 40-30 type game.

5. C.J. Brown – I’m going back to the well with Brown again this week. Brown is a dual threat and I think USF will keep this one close enough for Brown to play 4 quarters and if he does 4 TDs in a possibility.

6. NC State – I’m not sure how this game is going to play out, but one thing is certain is that NC State is going to score 40 points. I’m going to be playing a mix of these – Brissett, Thornton, Dayes and Underwood.

7. Joey Iosefa – I don’t know why DK still has him under $6K. He is a lock for 30 carries and 100 yards and until his price tag catches up with his production he will remain a fixture in my lineups. It always seems like teams are a bit sluggish when they play at Hawaii, so I really like Iosefa this week.

8. Wes Lunt – I am reading lots of press about the WKU offense and I think I am going to go a bit contrarian this week. Last year WKU upset Kentucky and then put up a stinker the next week at Tenn. I think that both teams will score this week because Illinois seems to be defense averse so I don’t think we have to worry about a lack of points in this game. I would not be surprised if Lunt is the tops scoring QB this week.

9. Jeff Driskel – This pick may haunt me again this week, but Driskel has an even better match up this week against EMU than last week against Idaho. I just hope the weather is better for this one and they get in more than 1 play. I am going to pencil in 3-4 TDs for Driskel if they play!

10. Marquise Williams – He has been confirmed as the starter, Oh Happy Day! He accounted for 4 TDs and 30 Fantasy Points last week splitting snaps. As long as Williams is the starter I think 30 FPs may be his floor against poor to mid competition.

11. PJ Walker – I like both QBs in this Navy/Temple game. I think the Navy Defense may have a let down after last weeks game at the Horseshoe and both QBs could be in line for multiple rushing TDs. At only $5300 on DK Walker is an outstanding value play.

12. Cameron Artis-Payne – Auburn showed last week that Artis-Payne is going to be the workhorse in their offense. I think 150 Yards and 2 TDs is a good estimate for the week.

13. Jameon Lewis – Jameon’s younger brother was tragically murdered over the weekend and understandably Jameon is considered questionable for the game. If he does play I think this could be one of those moments that a player can find peace on the field and put up the game of his life.
