College Football DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 8

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

headChopper: In 4 of the 7 games this season, Iowa has had their #1 TE garner 6+ targets and 58+ yards (and a TD in 2 of those games). Now those top 2 TEs (Lachey and All) are out, leaving Stilianos at the top of the tight end depth chart for this team.

darddog: UAB and Western Michigan are the two worst defenses on this slate by a wide margin. UAB is giving up 41 points per game to FBS opponents, and WMU is giving up 39.5. I’m hoping Memphis and Ohio get slightly overlooked since they aren’t on main slates every week. They are both going to score some points, and I’ll be targeting both of those teams in my lineups as much as I can.

STLCardinals84: Jonathon Brooks has now logged 19+ total touches and has 105+ rushing yards in 4 straight games. He’s emerging as perhaps the best running back in college football. They now face a Houston team that has allowed almost 400 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns over the past 2 games.

kmurray03: UAB is a great matchup for opposing teams, as they are allowing over 40 points per game and are currently 3rd on the main slate in terms of pace. When looking at adjusted points allowed in our model, only WMU is worse.

What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?
