College Football DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Week 9

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

headChopper: Kansas State is allowing the 2nd-most yards per game (142) in the FBS to WRs who line up out wide. Houston’s strength is their wide receiving corps, including Sam Brown and Matt Golden, the guys who line up primarily outside.

darddog: South Carolina has given up an average of 34 points per game through five SEC matchups this season. They’re coming off an embarrassing loss at Missouri that they couldn’t even muster a TD. Texas A&M hosts the Gamecocks this week and are coming off a bye week. This is a recipe for the Aggies to put a ton of points up on the board.

STLCardinals84: USC has given up at least 28 points in five consecutive games. A few of those have come against less-than-stellar offenses. This defense is an absolute mess, and Cal will provide us with some solid value opportunity.

kmurray03: Both Cal and USC are in the bottom 3 of points allowed per game amongst teams on this slate.

What is your favorite correlation on the slate and why?

Epignosis
Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
