Darddog's Attack Plan for College Football DFS: Week 13
A top-ranked college football DFS player, Micah Bedard (darddog) is here to walk you through the upcoming DraftKings slate. Micah will break down his favorite DFS picks at each position and will also lay out his strategy for how he is attacking the slate overall.
We have finally arrived at the final week of the 2023 CFB regular season.
This final weekend is honestly almost football overload with a big main slate on Friday to go along with Saturday’s action. I wish the GPPs were bigger on Friday, but you can thank the NFL for putting out a standalone game so DraftKings cut all the prize pools.
We should have a great final main slate of the season, as we get what should be the Heisman Trophy winner (no bias from me whatsoever) Jayden Daniels and a bunch of high total games that should shoot out.
This will be my last article of the season, as my wife is having our first child on Monday. It’s been a pleasure doing these breakdowns every week, and I hope they’ve helped y’all out when not only deciding whom to play but how to construct your GPP lineups.
Lets get into the Week 13 DK main slate.
College Football DFS: Top DraftKings Picks for Week 13
Quarterback
Core Plays
Jayden Daniels
$11,000
I’m not sure there are many words to describe the kind of season that Daniels had in 2023. It’s kind of crazy that he might end up with a better statistical season than Joe Burrow did when he won the Heisman in 2019. He’s put up a mind-boggling 65/68 FP in his last two contests. Texas A&M isn’t really a defense you want to attack, but Daniels did score 41 on the road against Alabama a few weeks ago. LSU knows that if he wants a chance at the Heisman, he’ll have to put up another monster game. A&M really has nothing to play for, and a lot of their guys are going to hit the portal as soon as the season ends. The price is steep, so his ownership should get held somewhat in check. His pass catchers are expensive, so don’t feel like you have to play one with him.
Jaylen Henderson
$6,400
As good as Daniels has been on the offensive side of the ball for the Tigers, the defense has been the reason he’s gotten so many opportunities because they can’t stop anybody. Henderson has actually injected some life into this A&M offense the past couple weeks, although Mississippi State and Abilene Christian are hardly juggernauts. Still, Henderson has rushing upside and should be playing from behind most of the game. Evan Stewart did not travel for the game, so that means his pass catchers should all be pretty affordable if you do want to stack him. Like Daniels, you don’t necessarily have to pair him with anybody. You can play him by himself and just hope he gets there with his legs. Jalen Milroe did whatever he wanted to this defense. If Henderson gets anything above 25 FP, he’s done his job.
