College Football - Week 10
I stepped out of my house this morning only to me met with the brisk breeze of winter. That means one thing; we are in the heart of football season. Halloween is history and Thanksgiving is on the horizon. We are knee-deep in the college season and it is about to get really good. This week has a great game between top 5 teams Utah and TCU, and we also get a top 10 match up with Alabama taking on LSU. It should be a great Saturday. So without further delay, let’s take a look at some fantasy games going on this weekend on 365 fantasy sports.
QB Shootout

Robert Griffin – Baylor at Oklahoma St.
Griffin is my pick because of the potential shootout with high powered Oklahoma State.
Blaine Gabbert – Missouri at Texas Tech
Gabbert has been solid, but not spectacular. Texas Tech couldn’t stop a high school team from finding the end zone.
Colin Kaepernick – Nevada at Idaho
CK is a stud and Idaho is in trouble.
Landry Jones – Oklahoma at Texas A&M
If Landry Jones was blind and wearing two eye-patches, he could still find an open Ryan Broyles streaking across the field. These guys will torch the pathetic Aggie defense.
Nathan Scheelhause – Illinois at Michigan
The freshman Scheelhause has been doing well lately. Michigan defense ranks 117 out of 120 schools versus the pass. This is a match-up play.

Brandon Weeden – Oklahoma St. vs. Baylor
I take Weeden for the same reasons that I took Griffin earlier. This game could be high scoring.
Kellen Moore – Boise St. vs. Hawaii
Needing all the blowouts they can muster up, I can see Moore and Boise destroying Hawaii through the air.
Ryan Mallett – Arkansas at South Carolina
Mallett lost his #1 WR for the year this week, but he is too good to pass up here.
Andrew Luck – Stanford vs. Arizona
This bracket is lined with tough defenses. But if Stanford is going to win, they have to do it through the air. Luck should get it done.
Dan Bailey – Oklahoma St. vs. Baylor
Man I hate kickers. But Bailey is the best in the nation.
375 Point Cap
| Player | Pos. | Matchup | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kellen Moore | QB | Boise St. vs. Hawaii | 65 | Moore was one of the cheaper QB’s in this bracket and he has a great match-up in this game. |
| Mikel Leshoure | RB | Illinois at Michigan | 45 | Watching LaMichael James slice up defense each week gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, kind of like climbing the rope in gym class as a kid. But, unfortunately, putting LMJ on your team here will destroy your cap space. So I settled for Leshoure, who happens to be the lead back for a team playing Michigan. |
| Shane Vereen | RB | California at Washington St. | 55 | Oh man did Vereen let me down last week. He muscled up only 5 points against a weak team. I expect him to rebound big this week against a bottom of the barrel defense. |
| Ryan Broyles | WR | Oklahoma at Texas A&M | 54 | Broyles and Landry Jones have a chemistry greater than anything you could find on EHarmony. Spending the big bucks and taking the best WR in this group. |
| Austin Pettis | WR | Boise St. vs. Hawaii | 34 | Looking for a little double hitter action with Moore to Pettis. If it hits, then you should be able to leave your opponents in the dust. |
| Michael Egnew | TE | Missouri at Texas Tech | 25 | Egnew is probably the best TE in the nation and he only cost 25 here. Not much difference in price between Egnew and the cheapest guy. So take the value with Egnew. Plus his name sounds a lot like Eggnog and it is the holiday season. |
| Josh Czajkowski | K | N.C. State at Clemson | 18 | More kickers. This one is cheap and he is decent. |
| Rodney Stewart | RB | Colorado at Kansas | 40 | If you dressed up Brett Michael’s toupee in shoulder pads and let it run against the Kansas defense, it would probably gain 100 yards. Stewart is average, but Kansas is horrid. He should do well, and at only 40 cap space he is a good price. |
| Jay Finley | RB | Baylor at Oklahoma St. | 38 | I didn’t have much cap left and Finley was sitting down there at 38. Finley has been absolutely on fire the last few weeks and this game should work the scoreboards over. For a low cap space I expect 100+ yards and 1 TD as the bare minimum for Finley this week. |
Well that concludes it for week 10. The guys at 365 have more games out there also, so if you check them out and if you need any help with your lineup, post a comment below or find me in the forums, and I will be more than happy to give you my 2 cents. Good luck this weekend!!!
