Condia Reclaims #1 Overall Grinder Ranking
There is so much going on in the world of sports right now. As the NCAA Basketball season comes to a conclusion (congrats to Kentucky by the way), the Major League Baseball season begins. This week of rankings updates certainly marks a time where the basketball efforts can make a big push, and the baseball experts wait in the wings to make their move. I’m sure next week will come with a plethora of change and new players who excel in the fantasy baseball game. But for now we still have a lot of hoops experts pushing up the board, and as the headline indicates, we have a new(ish) leader. So let’s get to this week’s update, which will include an update on some of the top NBA fantasy players of the season thus far.
Headline Story: Condia Is #1 Again
Obviously this week has a clear cut headline: Condia Reclaims #1 Overall Grinder Ranking! You’re probably wondering: “But Condia isn’t even playing right now, how is this possible?” It’s because the RotoGrinders Overall Rankings take into account the past 12 months of your play. Since Condia just surfaced to the industry for this NFL season, he didn’t lose a single result from March 2011. Impressively for Condia, this means that his number 1 ranking is comprised almost entirely of this past football season results. It’s a testament to how incredible his NFL season really was. Meanwhile Rudzia, a huge NBA Grinder lost about 10 pages of earnings for the Overal Rankings, which is what dropped him into a close #2 for this week. Being a Grinder of multiple sports and sites, we wouldn’t be surprised to see Rudzia back at the top soon, if he gets back to business, and don’t you dare forget about Beermakersfan creeping up and in the #3 spot. There was also one more move in the Top Ten this week to be recognized as BrettFavre444 moves into the 5th position by displacing HixvilleHunk. It remains to be seen how long HixvilleHunk will stay down though, as he is certainly a fantasy baseball stud. Regardless, props to BrettFavre444 as he continues to succeed and win the big bucks.
Movers, Shakers and New Guys: Two 10+ Spot Jumps and Two New Players On The Board
This week comes with a lot of small movement, but two guys stoop out and made double-digit leaps up the board. I expect a lot more movement as baseball starts, but for this week there were two elite players who continued to cement their position in the standings. Drewboski moved an impressive ten places up to 78th place overall, so congratulations there. Let’s see if Drewboski continues his climb and can soon find himself in the top 50. The biggest jump of the week was a 13 place jump by Rooks19 who continues his hot streak and now sits at 38th overall. A week after Rooks19 moved up big time to stand just outside the top fifty, he won big again and displaced a couple of top fifty players. Rooks19 is someone we, and you, should keep an eye on as he continues his climb toward top ten glory. The two new players this week came in at an impressive 44th and 80th overall, marking another week where a player(s) were able to join the board with a bang. Timz456 stands at 80th overall, and looks to be gaining speed in his push up the leaderboard. Bluestem89 had an incredible week and joined the board at an impressive 44th place overall. Any other week, these two guys take the headline story. But when there is a shift at the top spot, they slip under the radar a week. Under the radar or not, these two players are on absolute fire and are real dangerous moving forward.
Top Ten NBA Players: Maxdalury Leads The Pack
Maxdalury, BrettFavre444, Beermakersfan, Rudzia55, and Ohmsy hold spots 1-5, respectively, in the NBA Seasonal GLB. All of these guys are killing the NBA game and are the cream of the crop in terms of hoops fantasy knowledge. Other top ten NBA players include Dinkpiece, Nbarlotta, Jayhawkz274, Sojerseyhustler, and Csuram88. Congrats to all of these guys and good luck finishing out the last month or so of NBA action. They have all truly enjoyed this hectic season with tons of games on the schedule every day. Great job.
