Greetings, MLB Grinders! Welcome back to another weekend edition of the Covering the Bases article! It gets really difficult for a lot of DFS players to keep grinding the MLB game at this point in the season, especially with NFL preseason action in full swing and the regular season right around the corner. If you have stuck with it and are still reading this piece on the weekends, give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it!
As for the Saturday slate, we have a back-loaded slate with one very early start, three mid-afternoon starts, and eleven late games. The sites have left the 1 PM start off of the afternoon slates, so we have a three game early slate and an eleven game main slate. As such, I will focus this article on the main slate. However, let’s start things off with a few nuggets on each of the afternoon games.
