Welcome back from the All Star break! It feels good to have the daily baseball game back in our lives, and we have our usual full slate Saturday on tap. The one difference for today is that there are only three afternoon games, which is the lowest total we have had on a Saturday all season. Generally, we ignore any slate of less than four games in this article, but it feels strange to ignore the early slate on a Saturday. Since it’s our first weekend slate back after the break, I’ll be nice today and provide a breakdown of those games for you before diving in to the meaty main slate that we have this evening.
