Greetings, MLB Grinders!
We have a Saturday slate that is heavily concentrated on night games, with just two day games and a full 13 evening games tonight, so we are going to focus solely on the main slate here today. Yesterday was a great day for the core plays, as the top five team offenses that I listed in yesterday’s article scored 12, 7, 10, 7, and 9 runs. Both core pitchers allowed just one run. Let’s try to keep it rolling on Saturday! There’s plenty to discuss, so it’s time to roll.
I will also note that today is September 1st, so we have expanded rosters now in play. Expect some weird lineups, quick hooks for pitchers, and early pinch-hit appearances for some of the teams that are well out of the playoff race. Tread carefully with teams like the Marlins, Tigers, White Sox, etc…
