Hello again, Grinders! Welcome back to another Sunday edition of Covering the Bases! More importantly, I would like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to those of you out there who might have the fortune of being a dad. I hope you enjoy a day full of family, baseball, World Cup, and the final round of the U.S. Open! It should be a great day.
We have our usual full slate Sunday on tap today, with ten games on the main slate. There are only nine on FanDuel, as they have elected to omit the Rockies/Rangers game that starts at 3 PM Eastern from their slate. Let’s get right down to business!
Sunday Aces
This slate is relatively thin when it comes to pitching, as I can only think of maybe five or six names that I am even willing to consider on the mound. There aren’t any top-notch aces going, either, so it’s difficult to feel comfortable with the pitching selections we have available.
