Happy Sunday, Grinders! Before I start the article today, I want to wish everyone a safe and happy Memorial Day. I hope you enjoy a holiday weekend full of food, fun, family, and baseball. More importantly, I also want to thank anyone out there who may have served our country or has family members that have served our country. Thank you for the service and helping to maintain our freedoms here in the United States. I’m sure it rings hollow at times given the nature of our country these days, but know that your service is very much appreciated by 99% of the population.
Now, onto baseball we go. I must start this article by saying how unique today’s slate is. The slates look dramatically different depending on what site you are playing on. FanDuel has removed the two 3 PM Eastern starts (KC/TEX and CIN/COL), and those two games have respective Vegas totals of 10 runs and 12 runs. It is much more challenging to find offense over there. DraftKings and FantasyDraft are loaded with offense thanks to the addition of those games, but it becomes more difficult to fit in the ace pitchers over there. It really is a fascinating roster building dynamic, as my rosters are going to look ENTIRELY different on FD compared to DK/FDRAFT today.
